Our task involved a comprehensive review of critical documents, including geotechnical reports, heritage assessments, and additional pertinent records. This thorough examination aimed to precisely identify the comprehensive scope of works, delving into construction methods and other essential aspects. Our approach emphasized not only a detailed analysis but also a synthesis of insights from these documents, ensuring that the BOQ encapsulated all relevant details.
By synthesizing these findings, we provided the contractor with a meticulously detailed BOQ, offering a clear and accurate foundation for pricing. This commitment to precision in project documentation exemplifies our dedication to delivering excellence in quantity surveying and project management. Our multifaceted review process not only facilitated a comprehensive understanding of the project intricacies but also reinforced our role as meticulous contributors to the success of the heritage site development.
Our assigned responsibility encompassed the comprehensive development of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) set for the McPhee Creek Internal Roads and Civil Earthworks project. This intricate project involved the construction of 9m wide sealed camp access roads, a 9m wide sealed mine access road, a mining service area, the creation of a perimeter road within the mining service area, and the construction of a camp pad. Employing advanced methodologies, we utilized 3D measurements derived from contours and design cross-sections to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency in our earth measurements.
Executing this project with precision and efficiency, we successfully completed the entire scope of work within a tight timeline of 7 days, ensuring timely project delivery. Engaged in a substantial endeavor situated in Preston, Victoria, Australia, this project represented a large-scale initiative featuring multiple buildings. Our client, a prominent painting contractor, sought our expertise in tendering quotes for this complex undertaking, which comprised four stages and encompassed seven distinct buildings. The complexity of the project manifested in the varied finishes schedules and architectural designs across the buildings.
Executing a meticulous process, we undertook a total of 2884 measurements to complete the painting take-off for all structures involved. The intricate nature of this project, with divergent finishes schedules and designs from different architects, posed a notable challenge. However, through our commitment to precision and accuracy, we successfully navigated these complexities, ensuring the project’s completion with the utmost attention to detail. Our strategic approach, tailored to the unique demands of each building, exemplifies our dedication to delivering exceptional outcomes in quantity surveying and project management.

In collaboration with our esteemed client, a leading tiling contractor, our involvement in this project extended through the utilization of our Tender Management Service. Tasked with the responsibility of undertaking measurements, soliciting quotes, and managing the tender submission process, our role was instrumental in ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow. The complexity of this exceptional project, inherent to tiling works, necessitated meticulous attention to detail, material processing, and supplier coordination throughout the quotation phase.
In addressing the multifaceted requirements, we meticulously managed the take-off process across 72 drawings, identifying and quantifying 463 distinct items related to tiling works. Simultaneously, our team initiated proactive communication with relevant suppliers, facilitating quotation requests and ensuring a comprehensive pricing strategy. The cumulative result of our efforts amounted to a substantial tiling package valued at AUD 2.7 million or more, attesting to our proficiency in tender management, precise measurement techniques, and adept project coordination within the construction domain
Engaged to undertake the comprehensive takeoff for the painting package of a uniquely designed Aged Care Facility situated in Heatherton, Victoria, Australia, our services played a pivotal role in ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the project. With 150 rooms incorporated into the facility, the scope of our engagement extended to the meticulous analysis of 115 drawings, resulting in a detailed takeoff sheet encompassing a total of 615 distinct items.
In navigating the intricacies of this distinctive project, our team showcased a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in quantifying the painting requirements. Our expertise not only addressed the unique design considerations of the Aged Care Facility but also contributed to a comprehensive understanding of the project’s painting package.
